Teaching Philosophy
I believe that ciritical thinking and independent research are lifelong skills critical to a functioning democracy. As a librarian, my objective is make students information literate, which means I teach strategies for doing efficient, effective college-level research in the library and on the Internet. The classes I teach are workshops or course integrated instruction sessions that support curriculum and research on campus.
