Teaching Philosophy

I believe in hands-on learning. I develop and implement creative activities for students to engage in course concepts. I enjoy teaching and great class discussions. I am passionate about the early education of young children that includes developmentally appropriate activities focused on the whole child.

Courses I Teach

  • FCS 2600 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education
    This class covers appropriated education strategies for teaching young children.
  • FCS 2610 - Understanding Children
    This course is an overview of child behavior and family interaction. It also looks at the dynamics of home, school and child behavior.
