Biography

I am a Utah native with a passion for statistics, research, and teaching. Before coming to the College of Nursing, I worked in the private sector in Pharmacoepidemiology, and before that I was the Biostatistician for ARUP Laboratories for 5 years.

My interests are in reproducibility - and our current challenges in irreproducibility - in science, hypothesis-based research, causal models, and the paradigm shift in the relationship of statistics and science (life after p-hacking).

When not in the stats/research world, I can be found hiking in the foothills or roaming around the canyons.
