Biography
Amy Sorenson is a regional civil litigator, defending business litigation matters in Utah, Nevada and
California at trial, in arbitration and on appeal. Her complex commercial litigation practice includes general
business litigation claims in the federal and state courts, including dealer termination litigation and
arbitrations, False Claims Act lawsuits, non-compete, contract and unfair competition claims, business torts
and intellectual property and professional liability claims for a wide variety of businesses and industries.
Amy also co-chairs the firm's Financial Services Litigation group, and manages and defends financial
services clients in regional defense programs involving high-volume and pattern litigation. Her financial
services litigation experience extends to the representation of lenders, servicers and other financial industry
clients in a wide variety of litigation matters including lien priority disputes, servicing errors, origination
claims, consumer disputes, statutory foreclosure mediations and petitions for judicial review, SEC
receiverships, probate matters, fiduciary litigation, qui tam claims, MERS issues and HOA disputes.
