Biography

I am an Illinois native who moved to Utah in 2012. I have been a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Utah for nearly a decade and have worked at Primary Children's Hospital and Huntsman Cancer Institute. Through those experiences, I have gained insight into the struggles and triumphs of families facing various types of illnesses. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Utah with my PhD in Nursing. I joined the College of Nursing as faculty in 2023 and am thrilled to work alongside such committed and innovative scholars. In my free time, I enjoy running, biking, hiking, cooking, baking, reading novels, speaking Spanish, and playing with dogs.
