Biography
Asher Curtis earned his PhD degree in Accounting from the University of New South Wales in June 2007. Asher also has Master and Bachelor degrees (both with honours), from the University of New South Wales with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. Asher taught at the University of New South Wales for five years, and has visited Columbia Business School and New York University before moving to the University of Utah.
His research which focuses on how accounting information is incorporated by capital markets has been accepted for publication in the The Accounting Review and the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting.
At Utah, he teaches financial statement analysis, with a focus on valuation, to graduate students and introductory accounting to undergraduate honors students.
