Heather's current research focuses on improving health rehabilitation services for individuals's post-stroke. Specifically this includes outcomes research, comparative and cost-effectiveness research. Prior research has focused on clinical trials related to exercise and learning interventions on populations including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson Disease, and Stroke.

Biography
Heather Hayes, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is an Assistant (Clinical) Professor within the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. She works as a physical therapist in the University Balance and Mobility Clinic specializing in neurological rehabilitation, with a subspecialty in stroke. She is the director of the Utah Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program. She is a neurologic clinical specialist (NCS) and a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS).
