Biography

Lisa is a Registered Nurse, practicing since 1998.  She is passionate about the importance of the nursing profession and loves teaching new nurses.  Lisa has been active in the education of nurses since starting as a nurse but escalated her interest in teaching upon completion of her Teaching Nursing Post-Graduate certificate.  She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Utah.  Her primary research interest revolves around improving nursing workforce conditions, racism in healthcare, and healthcare equity.
