Professional Service

• Trove Gallery in conjunction with Nuzzles Animal Rescue. Role: Artist. I contributed my services at the Annual Nuzzles Animal Rescue Fund Raiser. I was auctioned off to Make 2 Animal Portraits. We were able to raise $15,000. The proceeds go directly to Nuzzles an Their Animal Rescue and Veterinary Services! 07/15/2023 - 07/15/2024
• Helper under 500 Show. Role: Participated by showing and selling my work. I participated in the "Under $500 Show" at the Helper Arts Festival. The event allowed festival goers to purchase the work of some fairly well known Utah painters at an inexpensive price. A percentage of the proceeds went to support the "Intern Program" for young artists who study in Helper. 08/23/2013 - 08/25/2013
• Colleen Reynolds Workshops. Role: Teacher. I taught a specialized Portrait Drawing workshop to 10 students. A special emphasis was placed on anatomy and structural aggression. We all had breakthroughs in understanding the relationship between surface, depth, conception, and perception. 07/13/2013 - 07/13/2013
• Colleen Reynolds Workshops. Role: Teacher. I taught a specialized Multi Media Workshop to a small group of 10 students. We explored "random abstract" juxtaposed with the "concrete sequential" in the context of portrature. The synthesis produced unprecedented visual surprises. 04/13/2013 - 04/14/2013
• Kimball Art Center. Role: Competitor In Painting Competition. I participated in the “Park City Quick Draw Competition” fundraiser for Kimball Art Center in conjunction with Coda Gallery. We raised over $6,000 via a 4 artist painting demonstration, which was followed by a popular vote and a live auction of the paintings. Luckily I won. The event included dinner, Dancing and a live D.J. The event was well attended and a fine time was had by all . 01/22/2013 - 01/22/2013
• Utah Watercolor Society. I gave a 2 hour portrait demonstration to an auditorium full of people. Video was projected to a big screen in a unique teaching situation. I was miked to communicate my ongoing process during the demo. 01/17/2013 - 01/17/2013
• Helper Salon, Helper, Utah. I was Juror for the Helper Art Salon 2010, where I juried , presented my own work, prepared a statement and taught. 08/20/2010 - 08/23/2010
• Gibbs Smith Publishing. Role: Illustration Consultant. I worked as an Illustration consultant for Gibbs Smith Publishing in the area of catalog development and also helped produce a volume of paintings celebrating book stores around the world. 03/20/2010 - 12/25/2010

Community Partnership

• In partnership with Trove Gallery in Park City we raised $20,000.00 for the "NUZZLES" Animal Rescue Organization. This event was an auction that sold my services to the Highest Bidder. The service being Dog Portraiture. 08/05/2021 - 08/05/2021
• I partnered with Trove Gallery in Park City to Raise Money for Best Friends Society. I contributed a unique commissioned Double Dog Portrait that raised $10,000 dollars for Animal Charity. 02/02/2019 - 08/02/2019
• I judged The Moab Plein Air Competition and Lectured on my Criteria for Judgement at the awards meeting. 10/13/2016 - 10/15/2016

• Best Friends Fund Raiser For a No Kill Utah. Raised over $200,000 in a collective effort with the community at large. I specifically worked through Trove Gallery in Park City, raising $10,000 in the live auction with two custom Dog Portraits. 10/2014 - 02/2015
• Demonstration and Lecture at the Kaysville Community Center in Kaysville, Ut. I lectured on and demonstrated portrait concepts with my friend Carolyn Stenquist as the model who was also my community liaison. We made our presentation in front of a mixed audience of all ages. I had a microphone and was able to lecture, answer questions, and draw at the same time. 06/2014 - 06/2014
• Fund Raiser For Kimball Art Center in Park City, Ut. I participated in a live painting competition Sponsored by Trove Gallery in Park City Ut. at the Canyons Resort Park City Ut. I was pitted against three other notable Utah Artists in a Two Hour competition with a live audience and a D.J. Collectively we raised over $10,000. 01/2014 - 01/2014
• I Lectured and Exhibited in the home of Jan and Tom Richins to the Farmington Community Arts Group. The Lecture was titled " Conception and Perception meet at the "Tipping Point". 20 people attended and dinner was served in this salon like environment. • I mentored and demonstrated for the Utah Watercolor Society. The demonstration was presented at Community Colleges South Campus in a large auditorium using video camera to big screen projection. A large number of participants were able to have intimate insight into my painting process. 01/09/2013 - 01/09/2013

Outreach

• I gave a powerpoint lecture of my work and my students work to a Honors Art Group at the Glendale Middle School. The lecture was particularly geared to those who plan to go further in pursuing an Art Career. 03/17/2013 - 03/17/2013

Honors & Awards

• I was Voted one of the 15 Significant Artists of Utah by 15 Bytes readers. The 15 Artists participated in a month long Exhibition at The Rio Grande Train Station. 15 Bytes, 04/2014
• Quick Draw Art Competition as A Fundraiser for Kimball Art Center. I competed in this Multi-Media Event which included dinner for the spectators followed by a live auction.
