Biography
Dr. Young is the Assistant Dean for the Professional Experiential Program, at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Utah. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah in 1990 and a Masters in Foods and Nutrition in 1992. In addition to her College administrative duties, she is a pharmacist consultant for the Pregnancy Risk Line, a health information service for both consumers and health care providers throughout the state of Utah; and is the volunteer pharmacist for the University of Utah Hospital Elder Life Program, a program to prevent delirium in hospitalized elderly patients. Dr. Young teaches an introductory course to entering Doctor of Pharmacy students in their first year and is co-faculty preceptor for the International Clerkship in Thailand.
