Research Summary
Dr Hull's research interests include the impacts of caregiving on lay and professional caregivers. In particular, sleep disruption and its effects on caregiver physical and psychological health. He is also interested in the longitudinal study of patient-generated health data from wearable technology.

Biography
Dr Hull has been a registered nurse since graduating with my AS in Nursing in 2007. From 2007 to 2022 he worked in a variety of settings: Bone Marrow Transplant, Emergency, Medical Surgical, Shock Trauma ICU, and as a Hospitalist Coordinator. In 2015, he enrolled at the University of Utah to complete his BS in nursing and applied directly thereafter and was accepted into the Nursing Doctorate Program at the University of Utah. During his doctoral study, among other scholarships, he was awarded the Eccles Graduate Fellowship and an NIH T32 Predoctoral Fellowship. After completing his Ph.D., he began teaching at the University of Utah College of Nursing as an Assitant Professor in the division of Acute and Chronic Care. He has taught courses in the undergraduate program: Clinical Management (1-3), Professional Roles 3, Foundations, Exploring Nursing, and the Acute Care Practicum.
